Zipit is situated in Lough Key Forest Park, Boyle, Co. Roscommon.
The stunning park is one of Irelands best forest parks and it is renowned for its breathtaking views, varied wildlife and historic buildings. With a woodland of broadleaf and conifer trees, wild bluebells and a wonderful scent of wild garlic, walking through this magical park is a must! With the ever-changing foliage, you can have a different experience at Zipit throughout all 4 seasons.
Lough Key Forest Park has a wonderful Visitor Centre with a treetop canopy walk, indoor activity (Boda Borg maze), outdoor adventure playground for children and a Lakeside Cafe.
There are plenty of open areas to picnic or even barbecue, as well as a fantastic lake with great water activities, boats, bikes and segways for hire.

There are toilets available in the Visitor Centre – 5-minute walk across the park from Zipit.

Full range of supplies in the Lough Key Lakeside Café. Our on-site cabin sells limited cold drinks and chocolate bars.
Safety Notice
Magnets used in our safety mechanisms at Zipit Lough Key may interfere with the operation of pacemakers and ICD’s. We recommend you contact your doctor prior to booking with Zipit.
Wheelchair access is provided to our cabin at Zipit Lough Key. Other paths throughout the forest can be difficult to traverse.
Lough Key Forest Park has introduced Wheel-O (Wheelchair-Orienteering) . This is a new concept to introduce visitors with limited mobility to orienteering. Wheel-O enables people with limited mobility to enjoy the sport which involves participants following a waymarked trail and identifying their location at control points along the way.
